Industrial Safety Mirrors

Why mirrors?

A mirror is one of the most commonly found objects all over the world - you'll find them almost everywhere you go. Mirrors offer a highly reflective surface, and should also offer a reasonable degree of clarity of the reflected image. They can also be made so that they are concave or convex, which will distort the image and provide a narrower or wider image to be displayed. This allows for these simple objects to be used in a wide variety of industrial applications; in factories, shopping centres, small shops which cannot afford close circuit television and a whole host of other places, improving safety and security by improving visibility.

The Need for Mirrors in Industry

To keep a workplace functioning smoothly it is of outmost importance that every aspect is supervised and appropriate safety regulations are put in place. Industrial safety mirrors allow for surveillance in the work place of areas that might otherwise be inaccessible, such as round blind corners and bends, or behind tall shelving. A bracket can be constructed to act as an extension for the mirrors. Another big advantage of industrial safety mirrors is the relative low cost as compared to the installation of close circuit cameras. By improving visibility in otherwise hidden areas of your workplace, industrial safety mirrors also act as a deterrent to potential thiefs, and are highly useful for assembly line surveillance.
