Acrylic Mirrors

Here at Bohle Convex Mirror Systems we stock a large supply of acrylic mirrors. Acrylic is widely used in building utility mirrors, especially when they are intended for outdoor use. There are a number of reasons for this; acrylic mirrors, when compared to their glass counterparts, are much more hardwearing and less likely to cause injury should they break. They also tend to be lighter, making them much easier to fix and mount.

There are, however, differing grades of acrylic used to make mirrors, and quality is often reflected in the end price. At Bohle Convex Mirror Systems we are proud of the high quality of all of the materials that go into our acrylic mirrors;

  • Many acrylic sheets yellow visibly in the course of time, however our acrylic does not. Approved for at least 30 years, yellowing of our acrylic is amongst the lowest possible for plastics at present.

  • Plastics lose a considerable portion of their light transmission during use, causing them to become darker. Our acrylic clear-transparent sheets still retain 90% light transmission even after 30 years of service.

  • If our acrylic mirrors are caught in a fire, they will burn nearly smoke-free and produce no toxic gases.

Our acrylic mirrors can be used in many applications, most often as hard wearing security mirrors, safety mirrors or traffic mirrors. Choose a category on the left to find the right acrylic mirror for you, or contact us and we'll be happy to help!
